{"id":5994,"date":"2026-04-15T11:00:56","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T15:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/technumquebec.ca\/uncategorized\/chair-in-thin-film-microstructure-engineering-for-the-microelectronics-industry-teledyne-mems\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T11:10:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T15:10:26","slug":"chair-in-thin-film-microstructure-engineering-for-the-microelectronics-industry-teledyne-mems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/technumquebec.ca\/en\/research-projects\/chair-in-thin-film-microstructure-engineering-for-the-microelectronics-industry-teledyne-mems\/","title":{"rendered":"Chair in Thin-Film Microstructure Engineering for the Microelectronics Industry \u2013 Teledyne MEMS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Chairholder: Nadi Braidy<br\/>University : University of Sherbrooke<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Building on the successful collaboration established through the CRSNG\u2013Teledyne Industrial Research Chair in Next-Generation MEMS and Microphotonics launched in 2020 and led by Professors Luc Fr\u00e9chette and Paul Charette, Teledyne MEMS aims to go further by once again partnering with the Institut interdisciplinaire d&#8217;innovation technologique (3IT) to establish the Chair in Thin-Film Microstructure Engineering for the Microelectronics Industry.<br\/>This collaboration involves Professor Nadi Braidy, who serves as Chairholder, along with Professors and co-researchers Luc Fr\u00e9chette and Mathieu Massicotte. <\/p>\n\n<p>Thanks to the new transmission electron microscope hosted at the 3IT, the research team will be able to observe and better understand the structure and properties of materials used, for example, in microbolometer-based thermal cameras produced by Teledyne MEMS.
