Training programs offered

A section dedicated to workforce training will soon be developed in order to promote the various initiatives put in place by Technum Québec and its strategic partners. This section will highlight programs and collaborations that support skills development in the key areas of microelectronics, semiconductors and technological innovation. The Innovation Zone ecosystem trains highly qualified people through all study cycles, thus ensuring a succession of excellence for Quebec companies, and more specifically for those established in the Innovation Zone territory. . Promoting careers in science at all academic levels is at the heart of the workforce strategy that the Zone plans to deploy in the coming months, with concrete actions currently being planned. Here is a list of training programs offered in the Quebec academic network.

The Quebec government has set up the Bourses Perspectives Québec program. Several microelectronics-related programs are eligible. At the college level, $1,500 is awarded for each session successfully completed. The amount for university training is $2,500.
