Mr. Bourbonnais then worked with several industrial partners and associative groups to form one of the first centers of excellence of the ACCORD approach, ISEQ, involved in the world of electronic systems in Quebec.

Finally, he led a team to submit the application for an intelligent electronic system innovation zone in the beautiful city of Bromont. Obtaining the designation of this innovation zone is intended to be recognition of the impact of electronic systems and its sensors on the Quebec economy. This industry is at the very heart of the digital transformation that will change our society.

CEO of Technum Québec, one of the first two innovation zones in Quebec, he intends to continue to promote electronics throughout the greater Quebec territory.

N. Bourbonnais holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Montreal (École Polytechnique) and an MBA from Concordia University.

Sylvie Adams

Vice-President, Infrastructure Development, Bromont Innovation Zone

Previously, Ms. Adam was a municipal councilor for the City of Bromont and was responsible for several files, including the industrial component (SODEB), as well as those of the Roland-Désourdy regional airport, located in the Scientific Park. As president of the board of directors of the regional airport, she actively contributed to strategic planning and developed in-depth knowledge of the municipal environment. Ms. Adam was also vice-president of a company designing, manufacturing production and exporting machinery in the agricultural sector.

Ms. Adam has training in organizational leadership from HEC Montréal. She also has training and expertise in the field of graphic communications and has worked at the University of Quebec in Montreal and taught at the college level in this field.

Louise Thibouthot

Vice-President, Business Development

Prior to joining Technum Québec, she was Senior Director of International Affairs at Investissement Québec International (IQI), where she was part of the founding team that led a major overhaul of Quebec’s FDI prospecting and promotion strategies. Her role at IQI was to oversee the deployment of the global FDI attraction strategy and to manage the performance of the network of professionals posted abroad.

She has also held management and business development positions at Montreal International, Laval Technopole and private companies in the publishing and food distribution sectors. Ms. Thiboutot holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Université de Sherbrooke and a minor degree from Université de Montréal in Advertising and Public Relations. She is a graduate from the Quebec Diplomacy Institute and a certified economic development professional with the Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) and the Association des professionnels en développement économique du Québec (APDEQ) She is a certified member of the Québec Order of Chartered Administrators.
