Technologies are developing at a rapid pace. But how can we ensure that their tremendous progress is achieved from a perspective of responsible innovation? It is on this vast question that a research-intervention project is being carried out by the SoZI interdisciplinary team, made up of 14 co-researchers from five university institutions at the very heart of the Technum Québec innovation zone in Bromont.
Funded as part of the STIMuleS program of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologies (FRQNT), in partnership with the Ministry of the Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE), at a rate of $300,000 per year for 3 years, this project is a real foray of the human and social sciences into the world of technology, which aspires to become a school thanks to its spin-offs, as well as to the transdisciplinary approach to (distal) research which serves as its basis. foundation.
